Bollington Health & Leisure

Latest Update

Due to the latest government guidance the Centre will be closed until further notice

As with previous closures, we can confirm that all memberships will automatically be frozen – you do not need to act.   Please note: any payments currently scheduled up to and including the 6th January (including any payments that are a few days later this month due to our migration of direct debit provider*) have already been raised with the banks and it is too late to recall them. However, as before, we will ensure no member is out of pocket for the duration of the closure and will ensure the time you paid for is honored when we reopen.

For members who have paid up front, the duration of the closure will be added to your membership when we re-open.

We recommend our members continue to exercise while the gym is closed, and recommend you join our Working Out From Home Facebook group where you will find helpful content, tips and guidance from PTs and staff members across the Lifestyle Fitness Community.

It’s been a very tough year for everyone. We would like to thank you for your continued support, and wish you a very safe and Happy New Year.

Swimming Lessons

Due to the recent announcement on 30/12/2020 by the Government, Cheshire has been placed in Tier 4, requiring that Bollington Health & Leisure close (again).  It is, therefore, with great regret that all swimming lessons, due to restart after the Christmas break, will be temporarily suspended, with immediate effect.

Impact of Closure:

Bollington Health & Leisure operates as an independent charity and has been serving the people of Bollington and surrounding areas since 1977 and relies heavily on the income from our swimming lessons to operate.

As you can appreciate this is a very difficult time for us financially. The enforced closures results in no income to the centre.  Each closure still requires us to pay the bills and to maintain the facilities, so that we can swiftly open and continue to provide our value for money service, when we are allowed to do so.

In order to help and support us through the current closure, we would really appreciate it if you would be willing to kindly donate 1 of your swimming lessons back to the leisure centre. If you are able to donate, no action is required on your part.  If you wish to decline your donation, please email…

We will continue to keep you updated, via email and social media, with regard to when we are allowed to reopen and reinstate your lesson(s).  We expect lessons to resume as per your current allocated day and time.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and look forward to seeing you, safe and well, back at lessons, as soon as it is possible to do so.

We thank you for your ongoing understanding and continued support during these difficult times and also for your kind donation, it is much appreciated
