How do I track my/my child's progress?

Our  Home Portal enables you to track progress on line. You can see the outcomes for each stage and receive notification when badges/certificates are awarded. To register/activate home portal you will need your/your child's membership number, which can be found on their enrolment email and Date of Birth. You can add multiple members onto the same account.

When should I stop swimming lessons:

This decision is entirely yours to make.  At Bollington Health & Leisure we follow the Swim England 'Learn to Swim' Programme which is designed to ensure that swimmers are both competent swimmers and water safe.  Swim England recommend that swimming lessons should be continued until your swimmer can:

  • Perform a relaxed Star Float for 60 seconds
  • Tread water, relaxed and with head above the water, for 30 seconds
  • Swim competently wearing clothes
  • Swim 100m continuously with ease and without stopping

(all of the above will be covered by the time your swimmer completes Stage 7)
